In a recent in-depth interview, petroleum engineering graduate turned Afrobeats sensation, Bright Obiejemba, shared fascinating insights into his musical journey, revealing the man behind “Real-B” aka “SharpShooter.” Born and bred in the vibrant city of Warri, Delta State, and now based in the bustling metropolis of Lagos, Nigeria, Real-B’s story is one of passion, persistence, and a unique sound that sets him apart in the competitive music industry.

Real-B’s musical journey began at a young age, where he found himself immersed in the world of music. “I started making music, writing songs at a very young age. Acknowledging the challenges of breaking into the music industry, Real-B credited divine intervention and his dedicated team for paving the way. “It’s been God. Also, big shout out to my team, we did lots of puzzle cracking to put me out there,” he affirmed, highlighting the collaborative effort that contributes to his success.
Describing his sound as unique and natural, Real-B emphasized, “I don’t sound like any artist. When you hear it, you know it’s Real-B.” This authenticity is a hallmark of his artistry, setting him apart from the homogeneity often found in the music industry.
Real-B recently dropped his much-anticipated project, a 6-track EP titled “Blood & Sweat.” With pride evident in his voice, he declared, “It’s mind-blowing, the body of work is fire.
