Manchester United forward, Marcus Rashford still wants to play for the Red Devils after stating a month ago that he was ready to quit his childhood club.
Boss Ruben Amorim initially dropped Rashford for the Manchester Derby in December.
Following the game, the England international delivered a transfer bombshell, officially announcing, “I’m ready for a new challenge and the next steps.”
Since then, he has not appeared for United and has been left out of the matchday squad in eight of the previous nine games.
Rashford is largely likely to depart Old Trafford in January, with Borussia Dortmund leading the battle to sign him on loan and several teams across the world interested in his talents.
According to The Telegraph, Rashford’s Manchester United career may not be done yet.
The 27-year-old is “ready and willing” to play if Amorim calls upon him.
Rashford is thought to have no issues with Amorim and has even been undertaking extra training to establish his value to the former Sporting manager.
This included coming to Carrington on Sunday while his colleagues were at Old Trafford preparing for their Premier League match against Brighton, which they lost 3-1.
