The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) will present certificate of return to Plateau State Governor Simon Lalong and Deputy Governor-Elect Prof. Sonni Gwanle Tyoden on Friday at the Commission’s Headquarters, Jos, the Plateau State capital.

Head of Voter Education and Publicity, Osaretin Imahiyereoboe, in a press statement on Thursday said the certificate will also be issued to all successful candidates who participated in the election.

According to the statement, “The following are those to collect their Certificate of Returns: Barrister Simon Bako Lalong, Governor-Elect, Prof. Sonni Gwanle Tyoden, Deputy Governor-Elect.

“Members-Elect are: Peter Ibrahim Gyendeng (PDP), Barkin-Ladi; Musa Agah Avia (PDP), Rukuba/Irigwe; Amarudu Aten Usiani (APC), Bokkos; Abok Nuhu Ayuba (APC), Jos East; Ibrahim Baba Hassan (APC), Jos North-North; Mrs Dusu Esther Simi (PDP), Jos North-West.

(PDP), Jos South; Wallk Philip Goma (APC), Kanke; Dasun Philip Peter (APC), Pankshin North; Henry Soembis Longs (APC), Pankshin South; Saleh Shehu Yipmong (APC), Dengi; Ismaila Hudu Bala (APC), Kantana; Pirfa Jingfa Tyem (PDP), Langtang North-North; Daniel Nanbol Listick (PDP), Langtang Central and Zimtim Sochang (PDP), Langtang South.

Imahiyereobo said each member-elect was expected to come along with three guests, while State Chairmen of political parties that present candidates in the election are invited.

The statement said guests are expected to be seated at 8.30am for the presentation of Certificate of Return to the Governor and Deputy Governor-Elect, while Members-Elect of the House of Assembly and their guests are expected to be seated by 10.30am.

All members-elect of the state House of Assembly are required to come along with photo identification, such as Permanent Voters Cards (PVCs), Nigerian drivers license, national identity cards or international passports.
