Plateau State Governor Caleb Mutfwang has said that he’s made it a policy of his administration that any civil servant less than three years from retirement will not be elevated to the position of a permanent secretary.

Speaking at the inauguration of five newly appointed permanent secretaries into the state civil service, the governor said that this is to ensure that the state benefit from the years of training the civil had garnered and the quality of service they would render to the state.
