A chieftain of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Nasarawa State, Hon. Abubakar Sadiqu Abdullahi, has expressed confidence that the party will regain its position in Nigeria and Nasarawa State by 2027.
In an exclusive interview with Daily Sun, Abubakar, popularly known as Ambassador Abdulsadiq, stated that PDP’s vision is driven by its strong legacy, robust policies, and commitment to the people.
“PDP has played a pivotal role in shaping Nigeria’s political landscape since its inception,” Abubakar said. “Our tenure has been marked by significant achievements in economic growth, infrastructure development, and social welfare.”
He highlighted PDP’s legacy, including pioneering reforms and policies that have laid the foundation for Nigeria’s modern democracy.
Abubakar emphasized PDP’s commitment to democratic principles and governance, championing free and fair elections, transparency, and accountability.
As the party approaches 2027, Abubakar outlined PDP’s strategic vision, including economic revitalization, infrastructure development, education and health prioritization, security strengthening, and good governance promotion.
He noted that Nasarawa State is a key focus for PDP, with plans to harness its potential for growth and development.
Abubakar stressed the importance of grassroots mobilization and inclusivity, engaging with citizens at every level to ensure every voice is heard.
“PDP’s journey towards reclaiming its position in Nigeria and Nasarawa State by 2027 is rooted in a deep commitment to the country’s progress and the well-being of its citizens,” he said.
