Despite the seeming rancour in the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), the National Publicity Secretary, Senator Samuel Anyanwu has said that the party remains intact.

Anyanwu while making this position known when he resumed at the party’s secretariat in Abuja, said the possibility of the party to reclaim the presidency come 2027 is feasible.

He said: “This party belongs to the people not as individuals or group. This is the only party that took away power from the military. This party is in every family in Nigeria. I will ask our party faithful to be strong and remain firm with the party. Let us work together. 2027 is possible for us to reclaim the presidency,” he said.

Addressing his position within the party, Anyanwu said despite a Court of Appeal ruling for his removal, he remains the National Secretary due to an ongoing appeal filed at the Supreme Court with a stay of execution, alongside a standing Federal High Court judgment that validates his tenure, affirming that legally, he continues to hold the position until a final decision is made by the apex court.
