Senior Pastor of House on the Rock, Pastor Paul Adefarasin has denied pulling a pistol on a car spotter as being widely circulated on social media.

This is contained in a statement issued by the pastor on Saturday.

In a viral video that began circulating on Friday, a car spotter can be seen gushing over an exotic Range Rover SUV driving by.

Adefarasin, who is behind the wheels, proceeds to wind down the car window and scold the car spotter while brandishing what appears to be a firearm.

The car spotter immediately apologises as the cleric speeds off.

The video has generated social media buzz, with many netizens berating Adefarasin for allegedly brandishing a gun in a non-threatening situation.

In Saturday’s statement, the cleric denied pulling a gun on the car spotter.

He said, “You might be aware of a video which has been circulating on social media showing me in what some have misunderstood as brandishing a firearm.

“I want to assure you of this — that, that was certainly not a firearm, and at no point did I point such at anyone.”

Adefarasin promised to speak further on the matter during Sunday Service.
