Papa Martin Ezeoguego Ibezute Mbakogu journeys eternally the way of mortals at the age of 85 years. His remains will be laid to rest in Umuezekpoko, Umuoru Uga in Aguata Local Government Area of Anambra State on April 21, 2023.
His was a life of forthrightness and faith in the Almighty, the giver and preserver of life, and the same he impacted on his children. This grace enabled him to nurture successful children from a very humble beginning.
And more grace abounded unto him even at death where he had the privilege of conviviality with most of his children, who returned home for a weekend wedding party the family hosted for a niece. The next day, he had a sumptuous dinner prepared with the ingredients he loved, including assorted meat, after which he retired to bed to take off on this eternal journey.
Perhaps it’s necessary to state how he disciplined himself to routinely take his drugs and go for checkups when due. As the first son of the family, he will be greatly missed, more so, by his children, grandchildren in-laws and other relations.
The wife, Ugonwa, virtuous in all respect, had passed on almost a decade ago, and two of his siblings also. He has a surviving brother.
