Overland Airways has commenced direct flights between Lagos and Abuja and would be operating over 60 weekly frequencies to both cities to boost capacity on the route.

The airline said this new service will operate with its brand new Embraer E-175 jet in a two-class configuration of premium and economy cabins.

In June 2024, the airline took delivery of the second of six Embraer E-175 aircraft ordered since the 2021 Dubai airshow. The first E175 was delivered in September 2023 and four more are expected to join the fleet. The E175 is a dual-class 88-seater modern jet aircraft.
