Chinagorom Clare Ezeakacha, a Social Entrepreneur and the founder of Clare Cares Foundation has reiterated on the mission and vision of her Non Governmental Organisation.
According to Ezeakacha, Clare Cares Foundation is inspired by love, “Our mission is to improve the lives of those who are less fortunate by providing access to basic necessities, education, and healthcare. We believe that everyone deserves the opportunity to live a fulfilling life, and we are committed to making a positive impact in the communities we serve.”
She added, “Our vision is to create a world where everyone has access to the resources they need to thrive. We believe that by working together, we can build a brighter future for all, and we are committed to doing our part to make that vision a reality.”
Speaking further on her journey as a social entrepreneur and what inspired her to become a philanthropist, Ezeakacha noted that indeed it has been an interesting and life changing process, “there’s also been a mix of tears and laughter. The one thing that inspired Clare Cares Foundation is love. I love to have everyone around me happy, most especially young people. I started off in uni, made it a ritual to share clothes, food and whatever I had to people who needed the items at the time. Then I proceeded to visiting orphanage homes to share time on my birthday with a few friends and family. Years later, I started Clare Cares Foundation, majorly to have a wider reach and get more help from people to make greater impact. I am a believer of start with the little you can and grow from there. Clare Cares is not about numbers but about the impact on people.”
Chinagorom Clare Ezeakacha also listed some of the success stories of the NGO.
“Student benefited from JAMB forms for admission and a few for scholarship. Renovation of an orphanage home through partnership with Cummins and Global giving. Distribution of menstrual kits to over 2000 girls. Paying fees of children and food provision for families and children.”
