From Lateef Dada, Osogbo
The Muslim Students’ Society of Nigeria (MSSN), Osun Area Unit, has endorsed the governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Adegboyega Oyetola, for the Saturday gubernatorial election.
Speaking at a press conference after a stakeholders meeting held in Osogbo, the MSSN Unit Amir, AbduJelil Arikewuyo, said the decision was taken after a careful study of the developmental stride in the state and succinct analysis of all the gubernatorial candidates participating in the election.
The society noted that Oyetola has performed well despite the meagre resources of the state, saying the state could not afford to start from scratch again.
Arikewuyo said, “MSSN, Osun State Area Unit observes that the state, though it is yet to reach its destination with the current pace of development in the hands of the current administration.
“Despite the meagre resources of the state, the state could not afford to start from scratch but to consolidate on the current feat,” he added.
The MSSN, therefore, appealed to the stakeholders to go back home and canvass the support of all their members, families, friends and well-wishers across the nooks and crannies of the state to support Oyetola.
