Turkish sports news medium Sporx has revealed why Galatasaray can’t sign Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen after the expiration of his loan deal in the summer.
According to Sporx, the Napoli striker, who has a transfer release clause of €67 million, is requesting a salary of €15 million per year along with a four-year contract, bringing his guaranteed fee to a total of €60 million.
Due to his high cost, Osimhen’s chances of remaining with Galatasaray appear almost nonexistent.
The yellow-red management plans to bid farewell to the Nigerian striker with applause and the championship trophy.
Victor Osimhen has scored 21 goals in the 21 matches he played for Galatasaray.
Describing Osimhen as a “completely different character,” the yellow-reds believe that only someone with his profile can fill the void left by Mauro Icardi’s absence. A magnificent farewell ceremony will be held for Osimhen at the end of the season.
