Restored by Grace (RGB), a Christian charity organization founded in 2017 by Mrs Seyi Oshewa-Oyedeji is dedicated to providing solace and inspiration to those facing the challenges of widowhood, single parenthood and separation.

With a deep understanding of loss and the desire to assist others in similar situations, Oshewa-Oyedeji established RGB to support individuals aged between 25 and 55 years, as they navigate different phases of life.

According to her, the core mission of Restored by Grace is to help widows, widowers and single parents regain their confidence following the loss of a spouse due to death, separation or divorce.

“By offering support and encouragement, RGB aims to empower these individuals to strive for stability and create a brighter future for their dependents. We envision Restored by Grace as the leading Christian charitable organization, providing comprehensive support to young widows, widowers, and single parents. Our ultimate goal is to see them reclaim their place as active members of the community, despite the hardships they have faced, and inspire others to do the same,” Oshewa-Oyedeji stated.

Expressing her gratitude, Oshewa-Oyedeji said, “Years ago, as a young widow and mother, I believed my life had come to an end. Today, I am grateful to God for His love, and my family’s support. It is this experience that fuels my passion to help other young parents who find themselves in similar situations.”

The philanthropist also has a yearly event for widows, widowers and single parents, where she and her team leverage the power of storytelling to inspire and empower people. “It’s a free event held in a prestigious hotel to celebrate the great work done by widows, widowers and single parents. This is one of our signature events that people look forward to, and we have also done it in Ibadan and Ogbomoso, and we are coming to Lagos on July 7, 2023.”
