Ondo State Governor, Hon Lucky Aiyedatiwa has endorsed the House of Representatives candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Akoko North East/North West federal constituency ahead of the Saturday’s bye election scheduled to hold in the federal constituency.
The Governor had on Thursday presented the party’s flag to Ehindero and solicited for the support of all the people of the federal constituency.
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) had fixed Saturday for the election following the resignation of Mr Bunmi Tunji Ojo after his appointment as the Minister of Interior by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Governor Aiyedatiwa said the APC candidate has the capacity to deliver and assured the residents of continuity in the infrastructure renewal master-plan, which the former member of the House of Representatives in the that represented the constituency had embarked upon.
He reiterated that the APC in Ondo State is one united family, noting that the party is well positioned to win the next election.
The APC candidate who was overwhelmed by the Governor’s endorsement, said he was committed to building on the unparalleled developmental strides of Hon Bunmi Tunji Ojo who represented the constituency till his appointment as a Minister.
He said he will achieve his lofty dreams for the constituency through inclusive governance, if elected in the Saturday’s poll.
“With my wealth of experience in the private sector and the opportunity I had in learning from Hon Ojo, I believe I am well equipped to steer the ship of the federal constituency in the desired direction,” he said.

Mayowa Akinfolarin, Hon. Olumuyiwa Asagunla, Adu Cubana, Hon. Babatunde Kolawole, Hon Olamide Falana, Hon Olabimtan, Barr Tolu Babaleye, Hon Thalis Apalowo, among other top APC stalwarts.
