In a bid to strengthen his reign and improve efficiency on Chieftaincy Matters, Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Lekan Balogun, Alli Okunmade II, has made a significant change within his administration.

On Monday, he relieved his Personal Assistant on Chieftaincy Matters, Chief Isiaka Akinpelu, of his duties and appointed his kinsman, Alhaji Lateef Muibi Balogun, Baale Afijagba, as the replacement.

The new appointment was announced through a letter from Oba Balogun, who explained that the decision was part of an ongoing reorganisation within the palace.

He urged Alhaji Muibi Balogun to work alongside other staff members to ensure a seamless approach to chieftaincy natters.

The Olubadan emphasised the importance of unity among all stakeholders and encouraged the new appointee to uphold the excellent reputation of the Aliiwo Dynasty. The appointment, he said, took immediate effect.

In a separate development, Alfa Monsur Bello was appointed as the Personal Assistant to Baba-Kekere Olubadan, Sen. Dr. Kola Balogun. The Olubadan urged Bello to utilise his youthful energy to assist his immediate boss effectively and efficiently.

Upon receiving the appointment, Alhaji Muibi Balogun expressed gratitude to the monarch and the members of the Aliiwo Dynasty for finding him worthy of the position. He promised to dedicate himself fully to the task at hand, aiming to promote a good reign for the Olubadan and uphold a positive image for the Aliiwo family.
