Governor Rochas Okorocha of Imo state has commiserated with his Anambra State counterpart, Chief Willie Obiano over the death of his mother, Mrs. Christiana Obiano.
In a statement by Okorocha’s Chief Press Secretary, Sam Onwuemeodo, the governor said that he received the sad news with shock, and that though the death of a beloved mother could be very painful, Governor Obiano and all those the mother left behind to mourn her should bear with the whole development as Christians, believing that one day they shall meet again to part no more.
Okorocha said the late Mrs. Obiano was a blessing to the society especially to Anambra people having given birth to a son who is today governing Anambra State.
He prayed that the good Lord would grant Governor Obiano and other members of his family the strength of heart to bear this irreparable loss.
