Laide Raheem, Abeokuta
The governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ogun State, Dapo Abiodun, has continued to lead in the governorship election.
The results of election results in additional seven local government areas, as announced by respective LG election collation officers, indicate that Abiodun has won four more LGs, namely Remo North, Obafemi Owode, Ogun Waterside and Ikenne.
The candidate of the Allied People’s Movement (APM), Abdul Kabir Adekunle Akinlade, won in Abeokuta North and Egbado South, while the candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) Gboyega Nasir Isiaka, won in his local government, Imeko Afon.
