The National Coordinator of Obi-Datti Frontiers, Kelvin Odatse Peters, has said that the result of the national poll conducted by ANAP that ranked the Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate, Peter Obi, ahead of Bola Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and Rabiu Kwankwaso of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) is a true reflection of the thinking of the Nigerian masses.
In the percentage rating of the poll which was conducted across the six geo-political zones in the country, the LP candidate got 21 per cent while the APC and PDP candidates garnered 13 per cent each and Rabiu Kwankwaso came a distant fourth with three per cent.
He accused other parties who were criticizing the result of the poll of shedding crocodile tears, adding that they know the truth.
His words: “I want to tell you that the result of the poll is the true reflection of the Nigerian masses. For the past six months, Nigerian university students have been at home and their future is being mortgaged.”
On his part, the BOT Chairman, Obi-Datti Frontiers, Onyema Anene, noted that Nigerians had woken up from their deep slumber to take back their country.
