The South–South Zonal Director of the National Orientation Agency (NOA), Mr. Iboro Otu, has emphasised the importance of inter-directorate collaboration in delivering the agency’s core mandate.
Otu said this during a recent tour of the Akwa Ibom State Directorate, where he engaged with staff and assessed on-the-ground efforts towards promoting national values, peace, and security.
He noted that strengthening cooperation between NOA directorates across zones is critical to aligning strategies that address Nigeria’s current socio-political realities.
“Our strength lies in unity and shared vision. It is through synergy among directorates that we can effectively contribute to the peace and security needed for sustainable development,” Otu said.
While commending the Akwa Ibom team for their dedication, encouraged them to sustain their zeal in supporting the national mandate. “Your contributions are critical, especially in these times when the country needs all hands on deck to foster unity and national cohesion,” he said.
He reaffirmed the agency’s focus on innovation, improved communication, and inclusive engagement with communities to drive national reorientation.
The visit, he said, provided an avenue for the zonal director to gain first hand insight into local operations, identify achievements, and explore solutions to existing challenges faced by the Akwa Ibom office.
