The All Progressives Congress (APC) executive committee and stakeholders in Zangon Kataf Local Government Area, Kaduna State, declared on Saturday that opposition parties have no chance in Aso Rock or Kaduna State Government House in 2027. They passed a vote of confidence in President Bola Tinubu and Governor Uba Sani.

A communiqué signed by Chairman Francis Danladi Kozah and Co-Chairman Jerry Irimiya Mark, read by council chairman Engr Joseph Bege Gaiya, outlined their stance. They praised Tinubu and Sani for their focus on peace and security across Zangon Kataf and Kaduna State.

The group highlighted the new military 2nd National Mission Brigade base in the area as a key step. “Their commitment to the peace and security of our people is evident in the sudden end to attacks on our communities,” they said.

“This move reflects the government’s understanding of the critical need for enhanced security measures in areas prone to conflict, thereby fostering an environment where citizens can thrive.”

They urged residents to stay vigilant and promote harmony. “We urge all residents of Zangon Kataf to remain vigilant and committed to fostering harmony within our communities, as peace is the cornerstone of development,” they added.

The stakeholders also thanked Tinubu for appointing locals like Gen. Chris Musa as Chief of Defence Staff and Bishop Hassan Kukah as Pro Chancellor of the Federal University of Applied Sciences, Kachia. They said these moves, alongside visible infrastructure progress and restored peace, make Tinubu and Sani’s re-election certain.

“In light of all that we have benefitted from this government, we want to declare that there is no vacancy in Sir Kashim Ibrahim House and Aso Rock come 2027,” they stated. “We shall offer our full support to both President Bola Tinubu and Governor Uba Sani in their re-election bid.”

Moreover, they praised Governor Sani for the multi-billion-naira skills acquisition city project. This, they noted, will equip youths with certified skills and tackle crime’s root causes. They called on Zangon Kataf residents to back both leaders for their dedication to welfare, security, and progress.
