The Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC), has declared it never appointed agents for the purpose of issuing a license to telecommunications service providers, urging service providers to process their license directly with the Commission at its head office in Abuja or any of the zonal offices situated in Lagos, Ibadan, Enugu, Port Harcourt and Kano.

Meanwhile, the NCC has encouraged Nigerians who are being charged for undelivered text messages or services not subscribed to, to complain to their service providers. But if the complaint is unresolved, they should escalate the matter to NCC with a valid complaint reference number issued to them by their  service providers.
