The All Progressives Congress (APC) National Chairman, Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, has predicted doom for the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), revealing that they were already building the casket for the burial of the opposition party.

Addressing members of the Tinubu Support Group (TSG) who visited him at the APC national secretariat, Abuja, yesterday, Ganduje disclosed that there was also strong indications that former governor, Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, would soon join the ruling party.

Ganduje promised to warmly welcome Kwankwaso back to the APC after losing all the political appointees and elected officials.

The former governor of Kano State said his leadership has been receiving prominent politicians and lawmakers across the country into the APC in the recent time, boasting that the so-called Coalition against President Tinubu in 2027 will soon collapse.

“I know that you are aware that NNPP is dead and that party will soon be buried. The coffin where we will put his body has already been constructed. What remains now is to dig the grave. And we are already digging the grave.

“Actually all the House of Representatives, Senators and State Assemblies and other party officials, timber and catapillars are coming into the APC very soon.

“We even learnt that the so-called leader, after losing everywhere wants to come back to the APC and we will welcome him. When a General lost his commanders, we will receive him when he is coming home.”

The APC national chairman, however, charged the visiting group to be resolute and continue to support the President Bola Tinubu-led administration, even as he assured them of inclusion in the party’s activities.

Ganduje also inaugurated members of the reconciliation committee for the Anambra State governorship primary election and reminded them that only a united house can guarantee the party victory in the coming governorship election.

He also charged the committee to work hard and bring everyone in Anambra APC into one united indivisible family.
