The National Identity Management Commission (NIMC) has announced a revised pricing structure for its services and products, marking the first fee adjustment in over a decade.

According to a statement issued by NIMC Spokesperson, Kayode Adegoke on Thursday, the review was necessary to align its charges with current operational costs and industry standards. The new prices take effect immediately.

NIMC explained that the revised fees are designed to maintain the quality and integrity of its services while ensuring affordability and accessibility for Nigerians.

It also warned all Front-End Partners (FEPs) to strictly comply with the approved rates, stating that violators risk sanctions, including revocation of licenses.

“NIMC is committed to protecting the interests of Nigerians and ensuring services are delivered at fair and transparent prices,” the statement read.

The Commission said the updated pricing structure will be published on its website for public access. It urged members of the public to report any instances of overcharging to the Inspectorate and Enforcement Unit.

Meanwhile, the Director-General/CEO of NIMC, Engr. Abisoye Coker-Odusote, extended her appreciation to President Bola Tinubu and the  Minister of Interior, Dr. Olubun for their continued support in strengthening Nigeria’s identity ecosystem.
