Nigeria’s economic woes temporary, says Esther Ajayi

Founder of the Love of Christ Generation Church (C&S), Esther Ajayi, has described Nigeria’s economic challenges as temporary.

“Rome was not built in a day. Nigeria may be going through a lot at the moment, but we will definitely come out of it,” she said during a rally in Lagos aimed at raising awareness for her upcoming event, ‘Celebrate The Comforter.’

She said the nation was still in a growth phase and expressed confidence that Nigeria will achieve greatness again.

Speaking with newsmen at the rally, Ajayi shared the inspiration behind the much-anticipated spiritual programme, set to take place on July 20, at the National Stadium, Abuja.

She said the event aims to change the perception of white garment churches and highlight their dedication to Jesus Christ.

Addressing security concerns, she reassured attendees that comprehensive measures are in place, saying: “There’s nothing to worry about security because if God is with you on a mission, the rest is history. I have met with the hierarchy of Nigeria’s security architecture, and there is no cause for worry.”

The rally, which saw a large turnout from C&S members and other religious groups, started at the Maruwa axis of Lekki and passed through Lagos Island and Surulere, ending in Maryland.

The ‘Celebrate The Comforter’ event is expected to attract numerous religious leaders and gospel singers and will also feature performances by renowned gospel singers such as Yinka Ayefele, Lanre Teriba, Yinka Alaseyori, Beejay Sax, Muyiwa Riversongz, and Bidemi Olaoba.

Other artists set to perform include Kent Edunjobi, Israel Classic, and Aramide Fadilepo.

Ajayi invited all Nigerians to join in the celebration, promising an uplifting and spiritually enriching experience.
