Presidential candidate of Nigerian Rescue Movement (NRM), Felix Johnson Osakwe has said Nigerians should expect surprises at the 2023 election.
He stated this as part of his message to felicitate Nigerians on the occasion of the 62 anniversary of the country’s independence.
He said irrespective of the poor leadership the All Progressives Congress, (APC)-led administration had brought upon the nation, Nigerians still had cause to celebrate.
“Nigerians must celebrate the goodness of God, the end to the lethargic government by proxy will come to an end next year when my party will sack the APC in an overwhelming victory at the poll.”
He said his party would rescue Nigerians from the APC-led Federal Government which he claimed had lost its respect for the people in whom power resides.
He said having signed the peace accord with other presidential candidates, NRM would do everything possible to ensure that Nigerians vote massively for his candidature.
In his address to Ndigbo group who hosted him in Abuja, Osakwe said he had taken his consultations to every nook and cranny of the Nigerian political space and would soon kickoff his campaign.
“Our government shall be a government for all Nigerians, irrespective of tribe and who you know. Opportunities shall be for all; NRM won’t fund corruption; human capacity building is a major priority to our party, building a united and virile nation is one of our goals as we shall fan the embers of brotherhood across the regions and dwell more on all that unite us as a nation under God,” he said.
