With the last minute postponement of the presidential and national assembly elections by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) today, Nigerians have been left dazed and confused.
The announcement, coming a few hours to when the general elections would have commenced on Saturday, February the 16th, comes in spite of the months-long preparation and coordination by election stakeholders.
The elections have been moved up a week to Saturday, February 23.
Here’s what some areas and polling centres in Lagos and Ogun states look like in the aftermath of the Commission’s surprise decision in the early hours of Saturday.
