A new private polytechnic, First City Polytechnic has berthed in Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital, with maiden students gaining admission for the 2004/2025 academic session.
In a statement signed and made available to newsmen on Monday by Ayietobi Christian on behalf of the polytechnic’s Registrar, the institution is an accredited private polytechnic on a mission to nurture undergraduates with best in class education.
With a full endorsement by the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) and the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB), the Registrar said prospective students can kick-start their admission process by visiting the polytechnic’s website – www.firstcitypoly.edu.ng.
He further said students enrolled in the polytechnic will be imbued with the right human attitude that would uphold truth, justice and fairness at all times.
The Registrar added that the polytechnic offers a wide range of fully accredited courses which include National Diploma in Business Administration, Computer Science, Statistics, Computer Engineering and Electrical/Electronics Engineering.
While noting that technology and innovation is paramount for the institution coupled with the zeal to equip a new generation of inventors for a new Nigeria, he also said First City Polytechnic, he stressed that the “institution remains dedicated to empowering students with the skills, knowledge, and experience needed to excel in today’s dynamic and ever-evolving world”.
