Baasorun Olalekan Olaniran Muslihudeen on Tuesday, 29th October, 2024 received the prestigious award of the Nigerian Council of Registered Insurance Brokers (NCRIB).
The award ceremony which was held at the Banquet hall of State house Aso-Villa, Abuja, Nigeria, is an annual AGM event and National Exhibition for insurance brokers.
NCRIB, formerly Nigerian Corporation of Insurance Brokers, was founded in 1962 and incorporated in 1967. It is also noted that the council was signed into an Act of Parliament in 2004.
Baasorun Olalekan Olaniran is a member of the fellowship society of the council and an Associate member of Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria (CIIN) , the award presented to him was in recognition of his immense contributions to the growth of the insurance industry and practice of the insurance broking profession when he was the Chairman of the Northern Area Committee of the association in 2015 – 2017.
Baasorun Olalekan, after his award presentation, appreciated the organisers for the award, and also promised to continue to contribute to the good work of the association.
Inspector General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun, and Honourable Ahmadu Usman Jaha, a Nigerian politician, member of the House of Representatives, representing Damboa/Gwoza/Chibok constituency, were recipients of honorary fellow of the council.
The First Lady of Nigeria, Senator Oluremi Tinubu is also a holder of the honorary fellow of Nigeria Council of Registered Insurance Brokers (NCRIB).
Recall that Baasorun Olalekan Muslihudeen Ilori was honored with an award at the security, peace, and good governance summit, organized by the Ifo Constituency 2 Youth forum on 19th of October, 2024.
The award which reflected his unwavering commitments to community development, empowerment, and creating opportunities for the people of Ifo and its environment.
