Prophet John Oluwadare of Christ Redemption Bible Church has commended President Bola Tinubu for his bold decision to suspend the implementation of the cybersecurity levy imposed on Nigerian by the apex bank, which would have increase the burden on the citizenry if it has been allowed to take effect.
He said ,the president has demonstrated a leadership trait, that exemplify him as a leader who is sensitive to the yearning of the people.
Responding to questions from the newsmen at the church headquarter to round up the 7nights God of Elijah, with the theme: My giant shall fall!
Oluwadare, however, called on Nigerian to cooperate with Bola Tinubu in his plan to fight corruption, restructure the economy and the infrastructural developmental agenda for the nation.
He stressed the need for the citizenry to support the president to achieve his dream for the country. He said “Nigerians need Mr President at this critical time and President Tinubu need the people also” end of quote.
He blamed the unabated fuel situations in the country on some self-centered individuals who would stop at nothing to frustrate the efforts of the president to give Nigerian a new lease of lives.” There are some cabal feeding fat on the resources of the this nation, but with the removal of fuel subsidy on petrol, its became very difficult to enjoy the collective wealth of the country, which are concentrated in the hands of few, hence determined to undermine his administration”.
The Prophet, though, underscored the economy challenges due to inflation are evidently in the eyes of the people; and the high cost of food items, especially the staple food by Nigerians are becoming increasing unaffordable. He said, “the high cost of Rice, Garri, Beans and other consumables are costly in the market. Some family cannot afford two square meals a day”.
He however, called on the Federal government to speed up on the various agricultural intervention programmes that would encourage farmers to go back to farming such as insecurity, kidnapping of farmers , supply fertilisers to farmers, provision of farm tractors and loan subsidy, that would enhance improvement in our agricultural programmes.
“ Our farmers are willing to go back to farm, but should be empowered to have access to various facilities such that will encourage food production and adequate food supply to the country” He said “I am ready to engage in farming, but I don’t have what it takes to boost my farming activities” end of quote.
He, further encourage president Tinubu not to be distracted by individual and/or group of person’s who are out there to undermine his administration, rather focus on his campaign promises to Nigerians. He said, “I know there are disgruntle individual’s who does not have the interest of this nation at heart and do not see any good things, that this administration have been doing. The president should ignored them and their schemes, but concentrates on his plans for the country”, end of quote.
In addition, the clergy has decried also the increase in the rate of kidnapping, in the country. Many homes and families can no longer sleep with their eyes closed, while describing what happened in the neighbourhood, on the streets and on our roads has disturbing. He emphasized, more so, that the security of lives and properties are the responsibilities of the government at all level, but seems, that the states government and the local government have left it on the shoulder of the federal government alone.
He said,” kidnapping is no longer a child’s plays, It’s now in the communities and on our streets. We hear of it everyday. Families now have to provide their own security by erecting a big gate at the entrances of their houses. But the question is: would they not go out in search of their daily bread? “end of quote.
He, therefore, urged president Tinubu to quickly stem the tide of these incessant kidnapping, empower and motivate the security personnel and implement the full wroth of the law on any individual’s caught engaging in such a heinous act.
