Sebiagbo Anthony, better known as Tony Lawz has just dropped his latest music project, ‘Winner’, an LP born from resilience, self-empowerment, and gratitude.

Tony Lawz’s Afro-fusion sound is a blend of Afrobeat rhythms, soul, and real-life storytelling. Unlike many artistes who pen their lyrics, he relies on pure instinct, delivering words straight from the heart in the recording booth. His music reflects his journey, weaving themes of motivation, love, perseverance, and cultural pride into each track.

While Winner is deeply personal, it wasn’t inspired by any single artiste but by his life experiences, the highs and lows, the joy and pain. Every song on the LP holds emotional weight, making it impossible for him to pick just one as the most meaningful.

The project features collaborations with male and female artistes on separate tracks, chosen instinctively because he felt they could bring his vision to life.

Creating Winner wasn’t easy. Long nights in the studio, the pressure to put his message out to the world, and financial constraints made the process gruelling.  But with the support of his manager, Adesina Salawu, and through unwavering faith and determination, he pushed through, ensuring that people would hear his story and be impacted by it.

Looking ahead, Tony Lawz has no plans to slow down in his drive to make more music, achieve wider recognition, and create a legacy of meaningful artistry.
Currently studying Business Management at Whitestone College in Johannesburg, this budding artiste believes that education and music are victories worth celebrating.
