MTN’s General Manager, Brand and Communications, Emamoke Ogoro on Monday, said the company has partnered with Making of Champions (MOC) to donate back to the community and restore the days Nigeria had athletes like Mary Onyali.
“We need to step back to when we had the likes of Mary Onyali. You can imagine when Mary Onyali walked into the room, we were all excited and static. It gives you that nostalgia, and that is the potential of an athlete.
“The children you see today, some of them tomorrow as we continuously train them, will bring Nigeria back to that realm.”
Emamoke Ogoro was speaking during the press conference to mark the beginning of MTN CHAMPS Season 3 finals to be hosted at the Nest of Champions Uyo from 6th to 9th May 2025.
