Minister in charge, Great House Alter of Fire Ministry, Pastor Chris Isaac has urged government to cater for widows facing hardship in the county.
The Lagos based cleric, expressed this while performing philanthropic act to women during today’s Mother’s day celebration in his church auditorium. Narrating reason behind his kind gesture, Isaac disclosed he imbibe dashing out gift items to women and widows due to hardship he witnessed in his tender age.
Having presented gift such as cloth, food, school fees and other mouth watering items, he therefore pleaded government should set budget for women and widows finding it difficult raising children to stardom.
” I’m known for giving and I will never get tired putting smiles on people’s face. I decided to celebrate today’s mother’s day by giving out necessary items to women and widow.
” Although it’s a little bit challenging looking at the economic situation of things but I’m glad I and my wife achieved our aim.
” I’ll be glad if the government can consider the widows and the less privilege in their budget. It’s obvious the masses are really suffering. This shouldn’t be a welcome idea. If philanthropist in the country decided to help the needy, the government should also step up their duties and come to their rescue. The widows and women ain’t finding it easy to put food on the table and I hope the government hearken to my voice for better Nigeria,” he stated.
