Accolades and recognition has continued to trail multiple award-winning filmmaker, HRM, Florence Okonkwo popularly known as ‘Queen of the Red Carpet.’

 

The Delta-state born film producer and Nollywood actress who is an entrepreneur and philanthropist shone like a sparkling star in the sky as she was given the honours of presenting majority of awards at the just concluded British Film Festival held in London.

 

President and founder of British Film Festival, Professor Roseita Royce at this year’s event held at Leicester Square, London, WC2H 7NA described HRM Florence as an industrious woman who believes in the promotion of Nollywood films and culture to world.

 

Noting that the committee that made the selection for this year’s award selected Okonkwo  for her positive contributions not only to the film industry but also her unwavering commitment to the development of mankind.

In attendance at the prestigious event were Hollywood actor, Adams Richard, Richie John Onaiwu, Patricia Odiatu, Ugo Achonwa, Rotimi Fahm among others.
