Taraba State Governor Agbu Kefas has declared free medical care for children and the aged in the State.

The governor disclosed this on Thursday evening during a town hall meeting to mark his second year in office as the State Governor.

Governor Kefas said that his administration is determined to make life less difficult for the people despite the paucity of funds.

He assured that the free education policy of his administration is non-negotiable and urged doubting Thomases and saboteurs to be careful, as he will go after anyone who tries to frustrate the policy implementation.

The governor, who said the people should trust him and support him to bring transformation to the State, promised to bring “more innovations to the State if he is reelected for a second term.”

In emotion laden moment, he disclosed that his sister was killed from “severe injuries from gunshots by one of the security men that traveled with her in the same vehicle” and asked for a moment of silence and prayers for the repose of her soul and those who were massacred in Karim Lamido Local Government Area last week.
