… Says road projects yielding results
Labour Party stalwart in Abia State, Chief Prince Iheanyichukwu Ugochukwu popularly known as Prince Ugo has showerd encomiums on the governor of Abia State, His Excellency Dr Alex Otti on his ‘back to school’ initiatives which has resulted in many kids in the streets returning to school.
In the same breath, Chief Ugochukwu equally lauded the governor on infrastructural development of roads across the state.
In a statement, Chief Ugochukwu, who recently buried his beloved mother, said he personally observed that the number of street urchins and child hawkers has drastically reduced in Umuahia metropolis and other cities across the state.
In the area of infrastructure , Chief Ugochukwu commended Governor Otti in urban road construction.
“As I drives around Umuahia, I noticed construction of new road and reconstruction of existing ones.
“Fom Ohafia to Arochukwu, it is a smooth drive all the way.
“Construction has also begun on Isi Gate to Onu Imo.
I also commend Dr. Otti (OFR)for officially flagging off the construction of the long abandoned 12.6 Kilometres Ohanze – Ntighauzu – Obete – Umuoha – Oberete – Abiaka – Akirika Obu Road in Obingwa andUkwa East LGAs of Abia State.
“If completed, it would help connect the people in rural areas to the urban centre
“I appeal to the good people of Abia to give the governor all the necessary support to enable him to deliver good governance to Ndi Abia.”
