Lovaboi drops his debut single “Attention”, on Valentine’s Day, starting the year with a bang. After working on perfecting his craft throughout last year, the Afro beats artiste opens the year with “Attention”, a mid-tempo sound and the track was produced by NYRP (Not your regular producer).
Daniel Daniel also known by his stage name Lovaboi, is one to watch in 2023 as he is part of a new breed of fast-rising artists that are taking the scene by storm. The debut single, now available on major digital streaming platforms, is set to establish him as one of the Afro beat’s emerging music Artist from the African continent.
Lovaboi explains what inspired the new tune and how he recorded it with NYRP (Not your regular producer) “Most times I’m able to create melodies off past experience with girls in my past, this is directed towards someone who needs to pay attention to the message in the lyrics. The song basically expresses what it truly means to surrender and make your thoughts known in love as a man to the woman you have chosen” the artist revealed in an interview.
“From the skeleton of the kick, snare and percussion of the production process all the way to professionally structuring the patterns, lyrics and word play drives my passion. The passion makes me put more effort in the creative process. As I create, I kick off with humming inaudible vibes, once I have a melody in sight that I like, I begin to develop it into a sing along, then progressively section out my chorus from my bridge and verses and start infusing my rhymes, word play and lyrical engineering,” he stated.
His voice, blended with the song’s tempo and mid-paced pulsating beats, defines this music. Lovaboi is a rapidly growing talent who displays his creative brilliance and gives room for his versatility and unique styles to be the focal point. He does this by having a knack for blending Afro beats with a touch of his own original style.
“This song totally expresses the vulnerability of a young man to the woman he has chosen to be in love with and how much she means to him. He further expresses how it will feel if she ever had a thought of leaving him with how far they have come as it will lead him to total damage mentally and physically”, he explains.
Speaking on what we should expect from him, Lovaboi says he plans to release a music video three days after the track, as well as working with eccentric music producers in the industry who can help him thrill his fan base.
