April 4, 2025, will linger in the minds of orphans and widows at Rafiki Orphanage Home, ECWA Widows’ Training School in Zangon Kataf LGA and Gewimen Centre for Vulnerable Children at Kwoi, Jaba LocalGovernment. These widows, orphans and their caregivers went away with bags of rice, packs of indomie noddles and Spaghetti, among other food items courtesy of the Senator Sunday Marshall Katung.

Head of Rafiki Orphanage Home, Cornelius Samuel, Head, ECWA Widows Training School, Sarah Bature and Head of the Gweimen Centre in Kwoi, Beatrice Kadangs, all expressed gratitude over the kind hearted gesture and wished the senator well.

Speaking on behalf of the beneficiaries, Amina Musa, appreciated Katung for his continued support and urged him to sustain his invaluable gesture.

Chairman  Distribution Committee, Gideon Gwani, said: “The food items donated were bags of rice, indomie, semolina and spaghetti, worth millions of naira.”

Chairman, Southern Kaduna Professors, Prof. John  Laah, thanked the senator for his efforts towards establishing the Federal University of Applied Sciences, Kachia, which has brought development to the region.

At the Widows Training Centre in Samaru Kataf, the PDP women leader, Lolo admonished the widows to continue believing in themselves and not to despair: “Senator Katung believes in you and will continue to render assistance to you.”
