Guardian of the Nation International (GOTNI) Leadership Centre, has attributed the bulk of Nigeria’s problem to the lack of quality leadership among political Officer holders.

GOTNI Founder, Dr Linus Okorie, at a press briefing ahead of a leadership conference, said with quality leadership and mentorship, Nigeria would be a great nation.

He said the present administration should appoint people with character that than those interested in acquiring wealth at the detriment of the country.

He said: “Every leader that is going to Head a department of government, whether at the Ministerial level, must have technical knowledge of that particular mandate.

“Let us assume it is the Ministry of Health, the person must be a first-class technical solid person who has experience in that sector. The second thing is visionary, with a sense of urgency.

“You need to have people who have an aversion for materialism, people who are not interested in materialism, but people who are interested in service, it is a passion of materialism that destroyed our system.
