The Lagos State Police Command has arrested Musa Ibrahim, 30, and Ibrahim Danjuma, 22, for robbing a shop owner at gunpoint in the Imude area of Ojo Local Government Area.

Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) in Lagos SP Benjamin Hundeyin disclosed this in an X post on Sunday.

He said the suspects robbed a woman in her shop at about 11 pm on Saturday.

“The police were alerted and a patrol team from Ilemba Hausa Division swiftly responded. The suspects were apprehended with the help of community members.

“A locally made firearm was recovered. Indeed, security is everyone’s business,” Hundeyin said.

In another development, patrol officers from Idimu Division intercepted one Abubakar Mohammed on Pipeline Street with a locally-made pistol and one live cartridge.

Hundeyin said the suspect was apprehended at 3 am today.

“Investigation is ongoing,” the police spokesman added.
