As the 2025 Local Government elections approach, Hon. Taiwo Olasunkanmi Samuel, popularly known as TOS, has officially declared his candidacy for the Chairmanship of Agege Local Government.

As convener of the Agege Renewed Hope Movement, TOS has become a voice for the voiceless, championing policies that place the welfare of residents at the center of governance. His five-point agenda, focused on economic empowerment, quality education, community development, improved healthcare, and transparent governance, is a blueprint for sustainable and inclusive progress.

TOS’s campaign draws strength not just from his passion but also from a rich professional pedigree. He holds a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Business Administration and Management from Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, and a B.Sc. in Business Administration from Joseph Ayo Babalola University, further supported by a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in View. His background is steeped in structured leadership and strategic planning, evidenced by his years of experience in the private and public sectors.

In the corporate world, he has served as Business Development Manager at Dujex Global Services Limited and Chief Executive Officer at Samdol Global Resources Nigeria Limited. These roles refined his skills in project coordination, business strategy, and operations — skills he now aims to bring into public governance. As Principal Executive Secretary to the Executive Chairman of Agege LGA from 2017 to 2021, TOS gained first-hand experience in local governance, contributing significantly to project implementation and policy oversight.
