Afrobeats artiste and song writer, Odumewu Olanrewaju Omogbolahan widely known as Labosky has reflected on the origin of his newly released single, ‘Eni Afe’.
The singer cum realtor disclosed that his new song was inspired by true life story.
Labosky whose music career spans over ten years noted that Eni Afe was carefully written and produced to suit the situation in which it was conceived.
He noted that ‘Eni Afe’ reflects on the outcome of reliance on humans.
“The song, ‘Eni Afe’ reality based , as many times we put so much trust in people we are meant to be distant from,” said Labosky.
He continues: “and at the end, their true intentions is shown. “Ore mase gbe’ra le anybody” as it implies in the song, means you shouldn’t put your 100% trust on people.
“It is a cautious song that sends a very deep and strong message to listeners especially at a time like this in our country where no one is to be trusted.
“Those who got killed for ritual purposes were victims of over-trust, some who got kidnapped in their homes were also victims of trusting too much because a close friend or associate must have given them out.”
On other plans, Labosky noted that a visuals for the new single would be released soon.
