Alhassan, further stated that the governor has given his word that the election would be free from interference and manipulation.
“The governor has promised a free, fair, and credible election, and we trust him to keep his word,” he said, adding that the governor had assured all candidates that his administration would not engage in the usual practice of manipulating the results of the local government polls, but would uphold the tenets of the election to ensure its credibility.
He urged the people of Kwara State not to lose faith in the election, stating that the governor’s commitment to a credible election is a testament to his dedication to democracy.
