The Independent Campaign Council, (ICC), of the All Progressives Congress APC has said it would now embark on door to door campaigns in all the 21 local government areas of Kogi State to ensure the victory of Usman Ododo in the forthcoming election.

The Chairman of ICC, Adams Onota,  who was represented by Sani Ozomata, disclosed this on Thursday at Reverton Hotel, Lokoja, during a press conference shortly after the meeting of the ICC members.

The ICC was in Kogi State to inaugurate campaign coordinators in preparation for the governorship election.

The Chairman said as stakeholders in APC, the ICC  is a platform to mobilize supporters from the grassroots to ensure the victory of APC in Kogi State.

According to him, “ICC is an independent campaign council, it is a complementary organ of APC. We are here in Kogi State to promote our candidate, Ahmed Usman Ododo and to ensure the victory of APC in the coming governorship election”.

He said as people grounded in politics, “we will continue with our task of complementing the party’s efforts with innovative activities that will bring about victory in the coming Governorship election in kogi state”.

“ We hail the contributions of Gov. Yahaya Bello who, with all sense of patriotism, fought tirelessly to ensure the victory of APC in the state.

“As professionals in politics, we will continue with our task of complementing the party’s efforts with innovative activities that will bring about victory in the coming Governorship election”.

He stressed that the ICC has mapped out political strategies, moving from house to house in the three senatorial districts of Kogi State, adding that APC will emerge victorious in the November 11 election.

Mentioning some  of it’s achievements, he said the ICC has embarked on several programmes to improve the lives of the people in the state. We had provided medical outreach and other activities to attend to the challenges faced by the people in Kogi State”, he said.
