Wife of KebbI state Governor, Hajiya Zainab Nasare Nasir Idris, has commissioned a private hospital in Jega, with an appeal to health staff to perform their duty with the fear of God.

At the ceremony in Jega, Hajiya Zainab Nasare commended the initiator of the hospital, Alhaji Tukur Wasoso popularly known as ‘Mai Lemu Jega’, for his humanitarian services.

She urged wealthy individuals to imbibe such kind gesture to improve the healthy wellbeing of the people of their communities and lessen the burden of medical expenses on the less privileged.

The Governor’s wife expressed excitement about the free provision of drugs to patients attending medical care in the hospital designed to cater for women health.

The hospital was constructed under the Tukur Wasoso Foundation Jega to assist indigent women in need of healthcare.

Hajiya Zainab thanked the Sarkin Kabin Jega, Alhaji Muhammad Arzika Bawa for his support to incumbent administration of her husband, Governor Nasir Idris, urging the people to sustain prayers for peace, tranquility and prosperity in the society.

On the occasion, the wife of the governor disbursed N20,000 cash each to 400 women for economic empowerment to boost their petty trade.

The gesture is under the Empowerment Scheme of the Nasara Foundation being coordinated by Alhaji Abdulrasheed Bala .

Similarly, the Wasoso Foundation distributed JAMB Forms and forms for entry into the College of Health Science, Jega, free, to students from less privileged background.
