Kebbi State Chapter of All Progressives Congress (APC) has suspended the Special Adviser to the Governor, Alhaji Kabir Sani Giant from the party.
The party, in the letter addressed to Giant, dated 28th February, 2025, signed by Saidu Moh’d Kimba ,State Secretary of the party on behalf of the State Chairman, Alhaji Abubakar Muhammad Kana-Zuru confirmed that the suspended party member brought a live Snake to government which caused alot of apprehension among the dignitaries.
According to him, “We are writing to inform you that, the State Working Committee (SWC) has decided to suspend you from the party, effective immediately pending further investigation and disciplinary action due to your conduct which is likely to embarrass, disrepute and ridicule the party which you have admitted before the investigation Committee.
“The specific conduct that led to your suspension was that, on the 8th Day of February 2025, you came to the Kebbi State Government House with a snake intimidating important dignitaries, Statesmen and Government Officials that were deemed offensive, embarrassing and a ridicule to the party, contrary to Article 21 (2) (ii) of the Constitution of All Progressives Congress (2022 as Amended).
“Please be aware that any further activity of this nature during the pendency of your suspension may lead to more severe disciplinary action, up to and including expulsion from the party”, the party warn.
Meanwhile,Kebbi State Governor, Dr Nasir Idris has commended the Administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for running the country towards the right direction.
Idris stated this while briefing newsmen after the APC stakeholders meeting in Birnin Kebbi which was attended by immediate past Governors, Senator Abubakar Atiku Bagudu, Alhaji Saadu Nasamu Dakingari, former Deputy Governor,Col(rtd) Samaila Yombe Dabai and many others Stakeholders.
He explained that the APC have agreed to always holding the meeting regularly and they have passed vote of confidence on the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for govern the country very stressed that,the state APC are solidly behind his administration.
