Former Governor of Abia State, Dr. Orji Kalu will, on Monday, June 12, chair an event being organised  by Oodua People’s Congress (OPC) in commemoration of the 24th anniversary of the annulment of June 12, 1993 Presidential election.

The programme with the theme “MKO AS A SYMBOL OF FREEDOM IN THE HISTORY OF NIGERIAN DEMOCRACY, will provide a platform for like-minds, human rights activists, politicians, scholars, civil societies, diplomats among others to deliberate on Nigeria’s growing democracy and other national issues.

According to the organisers ,the event which will hold at Excellence hotel, Ogba, Lagos will have Prof. Banji Akintoye, Dr. Joe Okei Odumakin, President of Women Arise and  Dr. Chidozie Okoro of the Department of Philosophy, University of Lagos as Special Guest of Honour, Guest of Honour and Guest Speaker respectively.

OPC is a socio-cultural group  for the advancement of the cause of the Yoruba nation and Nigeria at large.
