Twelve-year-old Jessica Mazoje has emerged as the Tourism Queen in the Little Mr and Miss Africa-Nigeria 2024 Cultural Diversity Pageant, which held in Lagos recently.
She represented the Isoko tribe of Delta State, from the South-South region of Nigeria, in the 10th edition of the beauty contest.
Asked about her dreams and aspirations, Queen Mazoje said: “I want to be a beauty queen because it has always been my passion. I want to be an actress and a doctor. I’ve always wanted to be a medical practitioner from childhood so that I’ll be able to help those who are in need and give them a healthy life.”
She stated further: “My dream is to help young girls like myself who want to become beauty queens but don’t have the opportunity due to financial deficiency. I’m going to use my voice and position as the Tourism Queen to reach out to them, encouraging them not to give up on their dreams.”
