Come February 8, 2025, the streets of Ajegunle, Lagos, will come alive with the 12th edition of Jamming for Jesus, a gospel music outreach organized by evangelist and gospel singer Olufunmi Adebayo, popularly known as

Holy Soja. The event, set to take place at Okito Junction by Banana Bus Stop, will begin at 12 noon, featuring an exciting lineup of gospel artists, including Righteous Man, Ifeanyi Godwin, Rev. Stephen Adewale, Rev. Aderemi Adenike, Ethel Osita Nnadi, Eromi, and many others.

Beyond being a musical event, Jamming for Jesus serves as an evangelical mission and charity outreach. The program provides free medical checkups, food distribution, and support for those in need, reinforcing Olufunmi’s commitment to using music as a tool for both spiritual and physical healing. She believes that through music and dance, souls can be won for Christ, and the burdens of life can be lifted in the presence of God.

A seasoned gospel artist, Olufunmi Adebayo has been singing since childhood, influenced by a musical family. One of her uncles was a well-known musician in Ogun State, while another, Rosa Adetola, mentored legendary artist I.K. Dairo.

Though her father did not pursue music professionally, Olufunmi carried the family’s musical legacy into gospel ministry. She began leading church choirs as a teenager and later joined The Redeemed Evangelical Mission (TREM), where she also founded a Christian cultural dance troupe. Over the years, she has balanced her roles as an evangelist, gospel singer, actor, and traditional Yoruba MC (Alaga), using each platform to spread the message of salvation.

Her latest single, The Prodigal Child, released two weeks ago, conveys a powerful message of redemption and God’s unwavering love for those who return to Him. It joins a collection of previous albums, including Holy Ghost Way (2001), A Masterpiece Praise, and Helper of the Helpless.

In addition to her music ministry, Olufunmi Adebayo is the founder of

the Olufunmi Adebayo Aged Care Charity Foundation, an NGO dedicated to caring for the elderly. She has long been passionate about providing support for neglected senior citizens, ensuring they receive love, medical attention, and dignity in their old age.

As Jamming for Jesus 2025 unfolds on Saturday, attendees can expect an atmosphere of praise, worship, healing, and joy, as Olufunmi continues her mission of winning souls, uplifting lives, and spreading the gospel through music.
