Senior Pastor of Trinity House, Ituah Ighodalo, has called on Nigerians to be hopeful for improved standard of living.
He said Nigeria has the needed resources to be a great nation but stunted because of selfish and greedy leaders.
“God has given us fantastic and remarkable resources,” he said.
He, therefore, called for the right policy to be put in place by the various levels of government to give direction.
Ighodalo called on Nigerians to take up the challenge and be determined to be good Nigerians and work hard in everything they do to bring about a better country.
Despite the challenges, he assured that God is able to lead the people in the new year just as he led the children of Israel.
He declared that 2024 would be a year of divine progress and provision.
Also, Bishop of Diocese of Lagos, Cathedral Church of Christ, Marina, Lagos, Ifedola Okupevi, said: “Our leaders should fight for us as a nation, economically, against external aggression, and fight against insecurity bedevilling the nation.
“They should be like King David who fought for his people in the Bible days and prayed to God to heal Nigeria of sickness of bad economy and governance.”
