IfeanHealth, has unveiled its Prosthetics and Orthotics Centre in Ughelli, Delta State. The facility, equipped with advanced Ottobock technology, is a public-private partnership between IfeanHealth and Marierie Memorial Central Hospital, Ughelli, under the Delta State Hospital Management Board.

The centre offers a wide range of prosthetic and orthotic services, including customized prosthetics, orthotics, and stroke rehabilitation solutions. These services are designed to cater to the needs of individuals with limb loss or stroke, providing them with affordable and accessible solutions to improve their quality of life.

Ejike Anih, Founder and Managing Director, IfeanHealth, said: “The goal is to empower individuals with limb loss, enabling them to live independently and participate fully in their communities.

“This facility is perfectly positioned to serve the South South region of Nigeria and beyond. The center has received praise from local government officials, with Dr. Paul Owhe, Chairman, Delta State Hospital Management Board, expressing the state government’s pleasure with this new development. This initiative is a significant step towards improving healthcare services in our state.”

Olorogun Jaro Egbo, Chairman, Ughelli North Local Government and Dr. Lucky Avweromre, Chairman, Ughelli South Local Government, welcomed the initiative, describing it as “something to celebrate” for the community.

Dr. Valentine Eziashi, commended the initiative: “Amputees can now be rehabilitated effectively.”
